San Diego Access and Crisis Line (ACL)
Confidential and free of charge, the San Diego Access & Crisis Line (ACL) offers immediate support and resources from an experienced counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on all behavioral health topics including: suicide prevention, crisis intervention, community resources, mental health referrals, alcohol, and drug support services, and more. Language interpreter services enable the ACL to assist in 150 languages within seconds.

Medi-Cal Provider Home Page
Under the guidance of the California Department of Health Care Services, the Medi-Cal program aims to provide health care services to about 13 million Medi-Cal beneficiaries. The Medi-Cal program adjudicates both Medi-Cal and associated health care program fee-for-service claims. Emergency Screening Unit (ESU)
The Emergency Screening Unit provides crisis stabilization services to children and youth experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. The Emergency Screening Unit (ESU) provides emergency psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, brief outpatient counseling, case management and emergency medication management to children and adolescents under age 18.

Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)
Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRT) provide in-person support to anyone, anywhere, experiencing a mental health, drug, or alcohol-related crisis. MCRT dispatches behavioral health experts to emergency calls instead of law enforcement, when appropriate, with teams made up of clinicians, case managers, and peer support specialists.

PERT
The Psychiatric Emergency Response Team (PERT) operates within San Diego County and consists of licensed mental health clinicians paired with specially trained law enforcement officers and paramedics. Together, they interact with persons experiencing a behavioral health crisis who have come to the attention of public safety agencies.

Family Urgent Response System (FURS)
FURS includes a 24/7 Statewide Hotline and a 24/7 County-based Mobile Response and Stabilization Team. FURS will provide current and former foster youth (up to age 21) and their caregivers with immediate, trauma-informed support by caring and trained professionals when they need it.

Warmline
The Warmline is a non-crisis phone service. The Warmline provides callers with information, referrals, support, and empathy. This service has become a valuable tool for individuals in the community who may be isolated or struggling with the symptoms of mental illness to seek comfort, coping skills, and the reassurance that they are being heard by someone who has “been there-done that”. The individuals taking calls are all trained Peer Support Specialists who have experience or personal knowledge of mental health issues, recovery and services.
The Warmline operates 7 days per week, except major holidays.

Alcohol and Substance Use Support Services
